No. Upon receiving the application, it is checked thoroughly. Once the HKCAAVQ has confirmed that the payment has been settled and all the relevant documents are provided, a receipt and an acknowledgement are issued to the applicant to inform him/her the assessment can commence and the assessment will normally take 15 working days starting from the next working day of the acknowledgement. However, if further information or research is required during the assessment process, the applicant is required to provide further information if necessary and the assessment process may take longer. HKCAAVQ reserve the right to terminate the application if the required information/certification and/or documentary evidence cannot be provided by the applicant or obtained from relevant bodies after a period of 2 months.

Upon submitting the online application, the system will remind you of the documents you need to send to us. Graduation certificate(s) and transcript(s) are basic documents required for all qualifications assessment. You should also submit written evidence of any transferred credits by relevant institution(s). Translation documents, evidence of name change would also be required if applicable.
For applicants who need the Report for Qualifications Assessment for the purpose of teacher registration/appointment, proof of the supervised teaching practice issued by the qualification awarding body, and syllabus showing the content and course hours of each subject of pre-primary teacher training qualification(s) would also be required. Yes, you can. There is no upper limit for submitting applications.

The QA i-Portal system will delete submitted applications 1 year after the Report for Qualifications Assessment is ready, while draft applications will be deleted automatically after being idled for 1 year.

No. Due to security reasons, the system logout automatically if it is idled for 2 hours. Any unsaved applications will be lost.

Please note that we are only able to assess whether the totality of an applicant’s qualification(s) could meet the standard of at least Level 2 or above in five subjects in HKDSE, and in which only Level 2 English Language and/or Chinese Language would be recommended (if possible). We are unable to assess qualification against any other Level or subject(s) in HKDSE, nor give recommendation on a single HKDSE subject. If you would still like us to assess your qualification(s) against HKDSE, please make such request in ‘Remarks’ under ‘Any Other Information’ of Step 4: Declaration.
